Foster Champs of Washington is committed to Bridging the Gap, Empowering, and Supporting Foster, Adoptive, Kinship, Guardianship, Reunified Families, and At Risk Youth. Long after placement day. We are here to provide practical help, real community connections, and meaningful resources for families and youth.
We provide a wide range of different services to meet the needs of the families that we serve from Support Groups, Tangible Items, Clothing, Diapers, Christmas & Birthday Presents, Special Events, Back to School Drives, Summer BBQ’s, and more……..
The HUB is located in Enumclaw and is available for families and At Risk Youth to come in a shop for clothing, shoes, diapers, and accessories at no cost. The HUB also has different types of drives throughout the year such as Back to School Drives, Sock Drives, Hygiene Drives, and more.
Lisa’s Toy Shop: Foster Champs is able to provide a toy shop dedicated to Lisa (Founder). Families can choose from hundreds of donated items to make sure that each child has amazing new gifts to open. We also put out giving trees throughout the communities. Helping to create lasting memories that truly matter.
Caregiver Support Groups: During the School year we offer ongoing Caregiver Support Groups through our In The Thick of it Series and our Monthly Coffee Meet-Ups. This is a great way for caregivers to connect with another and just be real. We also offer a private Facebook Support Group.
Grandparent Support: Much like our Caregiver Support we do also have Support for our Grandparents raising their Grandchildren. We have Grandparent Advocates who are ready to walk alongside you.
Special Events: We offer special events throughout the year that are perfect for families to attend as well as opportunities for re-unification to happen. These events include things like the Annual We are a Family Mariners Day, Family Zoo Trips, Seasonal Events and more….
Annual Christmas Party: Every year we get together as Family & Friends and celebrate the Christmas season at our Annual Christmas Party. Youth are re-united with siblings, foster siblings, caregivers and get to laugh & share memories.
